Fund the recognition of courage.
Donations and bequests pay for the administration of the Society, the awards we bestow, printing of certificates, the ceremonies where we present them, the Relief Fund that supports recipients who were disadvantaged following their brave act and the broader impact we are seeking to have in local communities going forward.
The Society receives limited government funding, with the public recognition of acts of bravery, being supported by the Commonwealth Government through a Grant-in-Aid administered by the Department of Finance.
